Basic Rules For Effective Email Marketing

Stop hounding further, this is just the right report to dish out your inquisitiveness. The procuration of interesting details related to could be discovered here. This would alter your conviction.

Read the write-up to get the clod of knowledge. Now you might find the excitement in the piece of literature.

Copyright 2005 Ronald Gibson

If you want an email campaign to succeed, you don`t want to offend anyone when sending your messages. Turn off a consumer with your email and you can be sure they`ll tune out your message. Don`t let that happen to you

A message that earns respect has a better chance to make sales. That`s why our topic for discussion is email etiquette.

Train yourself to always — and I mean always — stick to the rules below when crafting your email messages.

RULE #1 - ALWAYS WRAP YOUR LINES AT 65 CHARACTERS OR LESS

Very well. Just debar yourself from the other vernacular chain of know-how as this piece of literature is among the best of the bests. Your longing for information could get quenched in subsequent paragraphs.

Whenever you write an email, always format the lines so that they`re 65 characters, or less, across. To do this, you may need to do a “hard return” by hitting “Enter” at the end of the line.

Wondering why you should limit your lines to just 65 characters? Good question! There are two reasons why “less is more”:

Fine. Do you agree this article aided you in remodeling your mental ability of ? I believe it did.

We have additional articles on if you would like to skim. We would forward you with resources at the conclusion of this article.

The first thing to remember is that looking at a computer screen for a long time causes “eye fatigue” for many readers. The shorter span of characters across the screen makes reading easier and more appealing to the recipient of your email message.

The other reason to go short instead of long is this: some email clients automatically enforce line-wrapping at 60-65 characters on received messages. If your email is wrapped at 70, the content will arrive all “chopped up.” This makes it unattractive…and worse — unappealing.

How do you get your lines to wrap at 65 characters? Some email clients, such as Outlook Express, allow you to set the line-wrap to any character-width that you choose. That means you won`t have to hit Enter each time after typing 65 characters. Makes life easier. You can also type 65 asterisks or dashes in a Notepad file to create a template. Then paste your email below it to see if any lines extend too far to the right.

RULE # 2 - BE CAREFUL USING ALL CAPS

How many times have you changed the TV channel to avoid listening to a screaming car salesperson? No one likes ascreaming salesperson…and no one likes a “screaming” email message, either. Odds are, when someone has over-amped the volume of their message by using too many capital letters(not to mention too many exclamation points and other punctuation) - you`re going to be turned off.

Fine. You could feel contented to examine the consequent paragraphs. You need to be connected with this report to get more.

On the Internet, email messages written in all caps are considered yelling. It`s okay to write some sentences and some words in all caps, but don`t go overboard. (As you can see in this message, I`ve tried to use capital letters to help break up sections of the content from time to time).

Remember that consumers buy from a source they trust. Emails in all caps are perceived as “shady” or uneducated, and have an appearance that damages the credibility of an offer.

RULE #3 - WATCH YOUR Ps & Qs (Spelling and Grammar)

Would you be influenced by an email selling you something that had noticeable spelling and grammar mistakes? Sure you would…and the influence would be negative, not positive! When a consumer reads a sales message that`s filled with errors, they think to themselves, “Good grief, this person doesn`t even take the time to get his emails right. His product is probably the same quality as his emails.”

When you`re in business, your image is your reputation and your reputation is the reason people buy from you or the guy down the block. It`s essential that you create an image of integrity, credibility, and honesty in the mind of your prospects. Sending emails filled with errors doesn`t hurt your professional image…it destroys it.

Follow these basic email marketing rules and you will dramatically improve your chances of being a successful email marketer.

Get yourself a sites' BRAIN team

Here is your article. This report may give you a clairvoyance to .

You’ve probably heard about a “brain team”. It’s an idea that made many famous people rich. They all had a team. And a team had a brain. A brain of a whole team. What does it have to do with internet marketing?

So you have started to do some internet business. You need to make money of it. But all you have is some mediocre traffic, which doesn’t make a lot of money. As I told you in previous articles - you have to do some massive action. But first of all - you need to know - what kind of action do you need to do.

Though this is a superb report, I constantly ponder if it assists persons in any way.

It was a delight for those who were looking for . It was unproductive for some readers.

But, why to stop in midway? Just understand till the last word and get the crux of the report.

Of course you can plan it yourself, but there is a better way. Contact some of your competitors, say “Hi” and talk to them about their business. Here is a most important question you should ask them: “Is there a way I can help you?”

Why should you do that?

First of all, when you are helping tons of your competitors - you learn what you should do to get yourself a better place.

Second, you get a team of people who owe you, because you helped them. It doesn’t mean you have to cheat them and use them after that. You’ll eventually get some tips, ideas and joint ventures from them.

Also, you’ll get to know the most current news in your industry. You’ll understand the most some of the most current ways your competition achieves results.

Eventually you’ll see your competition linking to you. And sometimes you’ll see them asking you for advice or asking for some joint efforts. So, you are now in the center of a whole team of the best in your industry. And what did you do to achieve that? Just helped them (or even just asked what can you do).

What is your belief about the adequacy of this piece of information?

It gave ultimate bliss to those who were on the lookout of . For a couple of them it was futile in nature.

As a specialist who is hunting for , only you can rather figure out if this assists. To analyze if the article holds some significance for you, you can skim it till the concluding word.

That might sound unusual to help your competition. But new age requires new approaches. But I can hardly call that a new way. It’s just a new vision of an old marketing way. It’s a kind of things spies used to get into trust of another country, another company, etc.

Do you feel this excerpt is resourceful enough to meet the demands of all folks?

It was like a feather to the cap for those persons who were hunting for . To few, unproductive!

You can analyze this write-up if you are all hot for the information on . Scan till the close to feel if it works for you.

Helping pays off really much. You don’t have to always to that, only at start and eventually later. But later you’ll get so big thanks to ideas of your competition that helping them will not affect your business in any way.

When Your Office Is Home

Stop hunting further, this is just the right piece of article to explore more about it. All the trifles on are obtainable here. Your introversion could get mutable.

You need to be imperturbable to find erudition from this projection. So, create an uproar for this piece of article.

When Your Office Is Home

 by: Jenna Glatzer

It’s easy to get obsessed. Really, it is. With work, with the almighty dollar, with achieving and building your business.

When your office is home, there is no clock to punch, no rush hour drive to get as far away from the madness as possible. No, when you work from home, it’s all up to you. You can work as little or as much as you like. Unfortunately, most home-workers fall into the two extremes: those who don’t work enough, and those who work too much.

The ones who don’t work enough get caught up in the “home” aspect of the home office. Something is always calling them away: a crying baby, the laundry, a trip to the convenience store, a pot on the stove, daytime TV shows. They give in to temptation and never truly put in an honest day’s work. Then they come to me and ask how in the world I’m so productive.

It’s because I fall into the other extreme category. Im a full-time writer, and I get caught up in the “office” aspect of the home office. It gets simple to see each minute as a potential dollar, and each day as a new possibility to sell the novel, write the next bestseller, break into the almighty national magazine market.

The people are doubtful about the vantage of this artistically written material too.

It aided those persons who were hunting info on . For certain it was unproductive in nature.

As a person who is hunting for , only you can fairly find out if this assists. Traverse till the hindmost word to illustrate about its worth.

Know that when you are self-employed, you won’t have anyone looming over your desk to keep you on track. Sure, that may sound delicious, but do some real self-assessing: can you handle it?

If no one tells you when and how to work, will you have the discipline necessary to earn a living? Will you ever start your work? Will you ever stop?

When you get hooked into the cycle of never truly leaving office-mode, the point of working from home gets diminished. Sure, you may work in your pajamas, but you wind up putting in more hours than you would have at a day job, and you forget to enjoy the perks of being self-employed.

The single cure for either extreme mode is the same: set goals and meet them. If you’re not getting enough work done, set an attainable goal (write a new press release before noon, or make five cold calls before the end of the day), and keep to it, no matter how you have to juggle your life around it. If you’re working too much, set that same goal and then STOP. Write those releases, or make those calls, and then get up from that chair, stretch, and do something that doesn’t involve work in any manner.

I once read something that has stuck with me (pardon me for not knowing the attribution): At the end of your life, will you regret not putting in more overtime?

As for me, I’ll be embarrassed to die until I’ve achieved a lifestyle with a better balance: One that involves more family and fun time, and less time logged in my computer chair.

Sanity breaks are so important, and if you’re going to freelance full-time, you have to set limits. You have to take days off, re-discover your significant other’s birthmarks, and just plain enjoy life. Otherwise, why are you working? Remember what it is youre working toward and why you chose to work at home.

If you’re like me, you may work better with a written schedule. On this schedule, write down both your work responsibilities and your “play” responsibilities. Mine sometimes looks like this:

9:00-12:00: Work on new article for XYZ Magazine.

12:00-1:00 Lunch break.

Well. Your access to this part strengthens the view that you are too much inquisitive in and . Get an extra mileage by reading further.

1:00-5:00 Write query and send it to 5 new markets.

5:00-6:00: Cook dinner.

6:00-7:00 Dinner.

7:00-8:00 Exercise.

…and so on.

Though this is one of the best articles, I’m bit suspicious about its efficacy for everyone.

It aided selected readers who were searching for . All were not in a position to acquire the advantages from it.

As an individual who is all hot for , only you can rather figure out if this assists. The basic point is to reach at the last word to identify the facts.

I keep a daily schedule book that has room for me to write down all of my “to do” list each day. If you lose track of time, you may want to set an alarm clock to remind you when it’s time to quit, or you may try setting your computer to “defragmentation mode” at a particular time each day (your “quitting time”).

Commit to becoming less extreme. Working from home is a wonderful thing… in moderation.

Is your website'Dressed for success'?

Comprehend this report on . Make usage this report to appreciate more vigorously and apparently.

You’ve heard the motivational talks about dressing for success. “You have to eat, drink, sleep, and breathe success to truly become successful. Your sub-conscious mind will lead you down the right path if you think about it enough.”

Goodness gracious. Now that you have read till this point, we commit that furthermore you will have something extraordinary. Your additional curiosity in this ballyhoo would be an added leverage for you.

Even if you don’t totally believe in these words, you can surely hope that this mindset will help. You might even have famous quotes and uplifting sayings pasted around your desk or office.

You figure “why not?”, “it can’t hurt”.

Some people even spend a lot of money believing that looking successful will ultimately lead them to success.

So I ask you:

Is your website ‘Dressed for success’?

Why should it get any less attention? You want your website to be a success, don’t you?

If you think about it, isn’t your website the only visual image your visitors will have of you? (unless you have a web cam, of course)

What image does your website portray?

Do your visitors assume you went with the low bid on site design?

Do they wonder if the words “website navigation” are foreign to you?

Does your visitor subconsciously move her purse away from her monitor when she surfs by?

Do you really think they are going to install a T1 line so they can come back and view your graphics?

Your website needs to look and feel as if the person or persons behind it know what they are doing. It has to make your visitor feel comfortable. It needs to look successful.

If it looks like others are doing business with you, she will be more inclined to do business with you as well. The minute your potential customer spots the cobwebs, or one inch of dust on top of your products, she’s gone.

Now, I’m not talking glamour and glitz…don’t try to dazzle and baffle ‘em. I’m telling you to make sure the basics are covered.

Sharp, crisp design, fast loading pages, lots of white space between the tons of content. You are providing tons of content aren’t you?

Fresh, original content shows you know your stuff. People will want to link to your content to add to the usefulness of their own website. Lots of pages with relevant content can even help your search engine traffic. Your potential customers will have to return to finish reading through all of the great information.

Though this is one of the best articles, I’m bit unconvinced about its advantage for everyone.

It merely added to the list of folks who were researching . For some it was unproductive in nature.

You could be the excellent expert to give fair opinion on the write-up. As a connoisseur you need to be enduring to read till the terminating word.

I could go on and on about that one.

Anyway, what I’m saying is, even if YOU aren’t successful yet, your website should make you appear as if you are.

If I run across a site on Geocities do I think the person is successful? Do I whip out the credit and order his products? Nope.

Do I want to give my gold card (if I had one) to someone that can’t or won’t pay $70 in registration fees and $30 a month in hosting fees?

Well. Can you feel an improvement to your awareness on ? I’m confident, you must have felt it.

We have numerous write-ups on which you could scan. Be dead sure not to forget the material on at the end of this article.

I’m not saying that people on the free websites aren’t making any money. Its just that for me it doesn’t spell ‘trustworthy company’.

Neither does 15 banners on the home page, or graphics from the clipart CD.

Put yourself in your customers shoes. What things make you feel that you have hit a legitimate site?

What things make you click away before the page has finished loading?

What things make you bookmark that site, and then actually return to it?

Ask yourself these questions, then type in the URL of your website and view it from the eyes of your visitors. Have you broken any of your own rules?

The bottom line is that every pixel of your visitors monitor as they hit your site should scream SUCCESS!

Besides, “it can’t hurt”, right? Worst case is that the information provided in this article does nothing to help your online presence.

But if it does work for you, you just might make enough money from your website to allow you to buy clothes so that YOU can dress for success!

Internet Marketing and Public Speaking. The Murder Board Practice

We would like to offer you something extraordinary. It will benefit you in a corroborative way. Just on arriving the hindmost word you’ll feel that you’ve made a rewarding investment of your time.

Copyright 2005 Larry Tracy

I recently posted an article titled Internet Marketing and Public Speaking: Ten Tips for When the Twain Shall Meet. One of the tips concerned a means to practice your sales presentation with a Murder Board. I received several emails requesting a fuller explanation of this practice method.

I decided to write two explanatory articles, so vital is this method to improve one s public speaking, specifically in preparing a presentation aimed at selling off-line your on-line product. In this article, I ll provide an in-depth explanation of this practice method; in the second, I ll cover the seven steps need for a successful Murder Board.

Simply stated, the Murder Board is a realistic simulation of the actual presentation to be made. Colleagues role-play the audience, asking the type of questions they believe this specific group is likely to ask. It is intended to be more difficult than the actual presentation.

If you want to become an effective and persuasive presenter to boost your on-line marketing, this realistic practice session is the most effective shortcut to speaking excellence. It allows you to make your mistakes when they don’t count, increasing the odds that you will shine when the actual presentation is made.

The Origin of the Murder Board

Okay. The following lines can be an embellishment. Keep reading, you’ll acquire some additional knowledge.

The term Murder Board has its origins within the U.S. military, specifically within the extensive training system of the U.S. Army. When a person has been selected to be an instructor at an Army school, he or she must go through a demanding instructor training program.

Graduation and designation as an instructor is dependent not on a written test, but successful delivery of a 50 minute class from the curriculum of the school.

The audience for this crucible can be instructors who have gone through their own Murder Board, and are determined that this would-be instructor will experience the same frustration and humiliation they did. They ask tough, realistic, questions, the type of questions their students are asking.

At the end of the 50 minute class, the aspiring instructor gets a a thumbs up meaning he or she can now join this band of brothers and sisters as an instructor, or a thumbs-down, meaning another opportunity to go through a Murder Board.

Lessons from the Pentagon

This realistic simulation has permeated the military culture. As an example, when I ran the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) briefing team, we had three Murder Boards before the daily briefing to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The first one was at 5:30 AM, the second at 6:30 AM, the third in front of two General officers and all the analysists, one hour later. By the time my briefer or I was standing in front of the Chairman, those intense sessions had provided the right answers to virtually any conceivable question the Chairman was likely to ask.

Why have a Murder Board?

This painstaking practice session has two overriding objectives:

1. Hone delivery skills
2. Anticipate probable questions and objections so succinct, accurate answers can be developed.

Many presenters, while accepting the need to sharpen delivery skills, reject the idea of a Murder Board, confident they can anticipate the difficult questions likely to be asked, and need not practice in front of others, especially their peers. These people may actually be displaying a false bravado to mask their discomfort at speaking in front of a group, perhaps exposing their lack of skill in the presentation art, and/or their apprehension at giving a less than sterling performance in front of their colleaqgues.

They are also very mistaken. I have given more than 3000 presentations, and always find it beneficial to conduct a Murder Board before an important talk. No matter how hard we try to think of tough questions that may be asked, a little censor in our mind generally provides only questions to which we already have answers. In my executive training workshops, I always emphasize the importance of a Murder Board, and the practice presentations made by my clients are set up as Murder Boards to get them accustomed to this simulation.

Ah. Did you see some embellishments to your information storehouse of Christian Marketing?

We have additional write-ups on internet marketing if you need to go through. Towards the final paragraph, don’t be forgetful to find the resources on internet marketing.

I am in good company in believing that we need other minds to assist us in preparing for a sales or other presentation.. The man who possessed perhaps the greatest mind of the 20th Century, Albert Einstein, realized that even he needed help. He once said:

“What a person does on his own, without being
stimulated by the thoughts and experiences of
others, is even in the best cases rather paltry and
monotonous.”

The Murder Board is the presenter’s version of the actor’s dress rehearsal, what lawyers do in preparing a witness to face cross-examination in a trial, what the flight simulator is to the pilot.

Just as with the actor, the witness, and the pilot, this simulation permits the presenter to learn from his/her mistakes, so that the actual presentation is (1) more responsive to the informational needs of the audience, (2) answers are developed for likely questions to be asked, and (3) overall speaking confidence and competence enhanced.

The Murder Board enables you to visualize the presentation in advance. Not only is proficiency in speaking increased by such a meticulous practice, so too is self-confidence. Public speaking ranks high in the pantheon of phobias because, in large measure, of the apprehension that one is going to be embarrassed by not being able to answer questions from the audience.

If you have been able to anticipate questions, then you can develop answers ahead of time. Think back to when you were in college or graduate school. Your GPA would probably have been higher if you could have seen the questions before the final exams. The Murder Board permits the presenter a look at the audience’s probable “exam questions.”

O.K. Your exquisite drive to research more would be contented further. If you go on reading further, we hope that your curiosity in this would increase.

The only obstacle to developing a question-anticipating simulated presentation is your imagination and willingness to take hard hits in practice so you can be more effective in the actual presentation.

WebPosition Release v2.0 and Reject Reporting Issues

Is there something so specific in regards to ? Just comprehend what we could want to say on .

We wish to share our intelligence with you. You merely have to read it to comprehend it.

As you would have heard, FirstPlace Software, creators of the hugely popular WebPosition Gold search engine marketing software, recently announced the forthcoming release of the long-awaited version 2 of their product. WPG v2.0 is already available in Beta format (see link below) and boasts an impressive number of new features to help web masters ensure their web sites are spider friendly, ranking highly and submitted to the most appropriate search engines and directories worldwide.

I recently took the opportunity to interview President of FirstPlace Software, Brent Winters, about their new product and also about his views on the increasing crackdown on automatic reporting tools by some of the major search engines.

Below is a transcript of the interview:
—————————
(WR) = Web Rank, (BW) = Brent Winters

O.K. Further insight to the piece of the article may be a surprise to the expert. Your craving for facts could get quenched further.

Question 1 (WR) - Why has it taken so long for FirstPlace Software to release a new (BETA) version of WebPosition Gold?

(BW) A couple of factors contributed to the delay. We under-estimated the amount of work to keep the current version up to date with the continuous changes at the search engines, while still contributing resources to version 2. We ended up spending time adding and removing engines in the existing product, adding new features, etc. so we were not standing still since version 1.0. In fact, we are on version 1.60.5 now.

We eventually added new developers to accelerate work on version 2. In addition, version 2 includes a tremendous number of new features and engines. In retrospect, we should have scaled back the number of features for version 2 and saved more for version 3. Fortunately, our customers will benefit from getting a lot of bang for their buck when they upgrade.

Question 2 (WR) - In your opinion, what is the most important or significant feature of thenew version?

(BW) There are so many important features it is difficult to boil it down to a single most important feature. Every customer will have their favorite depending on how they tend to use the product. Certainly the support for new country specific engines is a big one. Unlike other products, this support extends beyond just submission and reporting. The Page Critic also provides valuable advice for how to improve your rankings in over 75 major engines. A current (although not exhaustive) list of new features can be found at: http://www.webposition.com/wpg2upgrade.htm

Question 3 (WR) - The BETA version of WPG v2 includes regional search engines - something your customers have been asking about for years. Why did it take so long to include these?

(BW) See above

Question 4 (WR) - Only a handful of countries were included in the regional engines. Do you plan to include other country search engines (e.g. New Zealand and more Asian countries) in future releases?

(BW) Please keep in mind that you are looking at a beta version right now. We are working hard to add new engines to fill any significant gaps and are listening to customer feedback. For example, you mentioned Asian countries. We already have support for some Japanese and Chinese engines and are working on adding more. We support a dozen different regions currently: Global/US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Spain/Latin America, Russia, Italy, Japan, China, Scandinavia and the Netherlands.

Some countries like the UK have support for eight or more engines already (or will very shortly). Others have only a few. How many they have depends on how many popular engines we are able to locate for that region, and how far along we are in the development of that region. Even after we release the product we will continue to add more engines (or remove engines) as things change and we receive feedback from customers. We may add support for entirely new regions depending upon demand.

Question 5 (WR) - The major search engines, most noticeably Google, have recently been taking a stand against the use of rank reporting software and even banning the IP addresses of persons using it. How has this impacted WPG sales and how will it affect future releases? Can you confidently say it is safe for customers to use WPG right now to check their ranks?

(BW) A very small percentage of customers had their IP blocked by Google in early 2001. I’ve heard of no one having their IP blocked for using WebPosition on any search engines for over six months since we released updates to more precisely emulate a browser. Version 2 includes an additional safety feature to slow down searches to a user-definable amount. That way you can be more courteous to the search engines while maintaining a lower profile. We continue to encourage customers to keep their queries to a minimum with the search engines (For example, there’s generally no reason to run reports every single day or for hundreds of keywords). You should also run reports at night whenever possible.

As far as our sales, they remain strong and demand for the product remains strong. Businesses with an on-line presence have a significant need to track and improve their search rankings. That is not a need that is likely to change anytime soon. Only the methodology and techniques to improve visibility on the engines have changed over the years and will continue to change. We’ll continue to update the product to accommodate that.

Question 6 (WR) - Is there any scope for arrangements with search engines that allow your software limited access to their servers in a restricted reporting capacity, similar to Overture’s recent 3rd Party provider agreement with Bid Management Software companies?

(BW) We already have formal affiliate agreements with many major engines including Overture, FindWhat, Looksmart, Bay9, Ah-Ha, About.com, and others. It is our goal to work with the search engines whenever possible and reach mutually beneficial agreements. We approached Google last year, sending over half a dozen letters and faxes to various VP’s in their organization.

We offered practical proposals to create a more mutually beneficial relationship. Eventually we gave up on the matter when their VP continued to fail to get back with us as promised. It does not appear to be a high priority issue at Google right now from what I can tell.

Question 7 (WR) - Do you have any exciting new features you plan to add to future WPG releases?

(BW) We always have many features we’d like to add. However, we’re focusing our efforts right now on finishing the long-anticipated version 2 and making sure all the features included in it work really well. We may not bang out a major new upgrade every six months because we focus a great deal of effort to refining the product to work as advertised. Many companies focus on including every bell and whistle under the sun, whether it has value or not, and then invest little time tofixing bugs reported by customers. This can be maddening as a consumer and a huge time-waster if you buy a whiz-bang great product and then do nothing but waste time trying to battle crashes, lock ups, etc.

In our case, we are so serious about producing a quality product that we offer up to $50 bug bounties to customers for being the first to find and report a problem. (These are credits good for the purchase of an upgrade, knowledge base subscription, or other product). It should also be kept in mind that we update the product weekly if not more often so our technology is never standing still between major upgrades. We also prefer to give customers new features and updates for free rather than trying to stick them with a new paid upgrade every six to eight months.

With version 2, we’ll be continuing our policy of free product support. Much of our competition offers no phone support, or charges $50 or more per call. We’re also striving to maintain average e-mail response times at 24 hours or less. This has always been a priority issue for me since I’ve personally been on the receiving end of bad customer support many times. I promised myself to run things differently when I founded this company ten years ago.

——————————

Well. What is your perception on the article till here? I’m sure it enhanced your wisdom.

We have other material on if you wish to scan. We want to facilitate you with the additional knowledge on but, for that you should wait.

Web Rank would like to thank Brent Winters for taking the time to respond to our questions. If you have additional questions about WebPosition Gold as a result of reading this interview, please visit the links below, or email WebPosition support
staff via help@webposition.com. If you’d like to trial the Beta version of WPG v2.0 please download it from the link below.

Dropped Jaw Syndrome, Your Fastest, Most Reliable Market Test

The cliquish cognizance on panic attacks can be endowed through this article. All the trifles on health are available here. Your cognition could show a significant metamorphose.

Let’s ween if you comprehend the entire ballyhoo it has specific important facts for you to choose. Now you would get the wallop in the ballyhoo.

Dropped Jaw Syndrome, Your Fastest, Most Reliable Market Test

 by: Dr. Lynella Grant

No doubts about the clarity of this excerpt, still the individuals are doubtful about its assistance.

It was a blessing in disguise for those who were searching for panic attacks. It was not giving output for few.

You can review the stuff in the best possible manner. As a person you must be placid to skim till the concluding word.

Business owners should be more like doctors.

Forget selling and start asking your customers where they hurt. Broken leg? Ulcer? Empty wallet?

Don’t sell, diagnose. And what are you as a doctor looking for? Well, of course: that ever-illusive, yet ever- profitable disease called Dropped Jaw Syndrome.

OK, it may not be in any medical book. But Dropped Jaw Syndrome, however rare, is known to anyone who s ever tried to sell something. The customer walks into your store, listens to your pitch and falls into an awestruck trance. “I’ll take three of them.”

Joking aside, the dropped jaw, or at least its symptoms, are the fuel behind every sale. When a customer is persuaded to buy, their reaction isn t logical. You ve connected with the part of their brain that decides if you and your product are believable, the limbic system. Sure, you still need to persuade with facts, but logic is a distant second to their desire to buy, their reflexive dropping jaw.

Diagnosing Dropped Jaw

The key is finding the dropped jaw, tracking the symptoms back to their source. But it s there. And it s quite easy to find once you stop thinking about your product for a moment and focus on the customer… I mean, patient.

Okay. Further insight to the piece of the article will be a fun to the expert. Continue reading, you’ll find some additional facts.

Don t believe me? Well, put on a white coat, hang a stethoscope around your neck and do some market tests of your own. But this is a test you have to do face to face. Forget the demographic studies, sales plans and benchmark reports, and get in front of a customer.

Now, take his temperature, make your pitch. And follow it through the customer s reaction.

Did his jaw drop? Hmm. You must have done something wrong. Try again, but listen like a doctor searching for a heart murmur. Ask a question, offer information, and then hear the subtleties of his response. And when you re diagnosing a customer, instead of trying to sell your product, something changes.

You become more attuned to the subtle dropped jaw and related body language. And you ask more accurate questions. You notice which of the claims and benefits penetrate the customer s protective indifference, sparking real interest. Of course, most salespeople already do this to a degree, but it must be done intentionally, consciously.

The true advantage of Dropped Jaw Syndrome comes from changing your role for a moment, from selling and telling to assessing what customers want, even when they can t say it in words. Demand that you live up to their desires. Because if you re not dropping jaws, you re in danger of falling behind the competition. Worse, you re probably overlooking your company s uniqueness.

Diagnosing Your Pitch

In searching for dropped-jaw reactions, some companies have made unbelievable claims central to their promotions. We ve all seen the TV commercials where “Crazy Joe” says he s so insane he s practically giving away the furniture in his store.

Better are claims that are striking and stand out from the competition, but don t over-promise. Consider “Have it your way” (Burger King) or “It takes a licking and keeps on ticking” (Timex). In establishing your own unique proposition, the dropped jaw test is quick and reliable.

Okay. Just debar yourself from the other casual hierarchy of facts as this article is among the best of the bests. You could be persistent in order to attain the value of this ballyhoo. So, go on reading.

Customers, whether they know it or not, are very good at distinguishing between businesses they trust and those they don t. Let them tell you how you re doing.

Building Customer Confidence

I discovered the Dropped Jaw Syndrome years ago. It started with my claim that I can assess the health of a business by looking only at its business card. And when I would point out the subtle messages on their cards, most of them unintended, people s jaws would drop.

The value of the dropped jaw test is the perspective it imparts. By listening to the customer or putting yourself in her shoes, you re more likely to notice the “small potatoes” signals you re sending. Such telltale signs aren t based on the business size or age. But once you recognize them they can be easily repaired.

As you play doctor, it s your job to notice what hurts the customer and cure it. When you find ways to make your customers jaws drop, you ll take their pain away. And that will make your business a healthy one.

Blog and Ping A Search Engine Traffic Bonanza

This piece of article is clearly ideal for all the corroborations. Uncover the details on here. Your thoughts may provide evidence of a significant change.

Be patient to bask in the impeccable composition of the article. Analyze it for yourself.

Everyone is talking about blogs these days as the magic money-making marketing tool. Some of the hype may actually be true, but I suggest you cut through most of what you read about blogs just long enough to understand why every business needs a blog.

Although this is one of the best articles, I’m bit doubtful about its advantage for everyone.

Many of the folks were contented by this write-up. It was unproductive for few readers.

You can be very competent in your exploration for before being judgemental about this stuff. Explore till the close to see if it works for you.

Right now, that s not to say this won t change, search engines are in love with real blogs. By real blogs I mean blogs that are set-up and run by businesses that offer useful content on them. Like every successful marketing method there are people out there setting up fake blogs and dumping garbage, but keyword rich, content into them in order to trick the search engines into ranking the content highly. [Please resist the urge to add to this form of search engine spam as it may actually get you banned by a search engine.]

When you understand a little about how blog software works you get a better understanding about why search engines love blogs. Here are the top reasons that business blogs and search engines go hand in hand.

Lots of Pages
Each blog entry is shown in chronological order on a blog s homepage but, each entry is in reality its own web page, with its own unique URL and title. So, an active blogger can create hundreds of keyword rich web pages in a matter of months.

Change Is Good
In order to claim your place at the blogging table you must commit to making posts often 4 or 5 times a week perhaps. This commitment means that you are creating, updating, changing some portion of your site several times a week. The typical small business web site is lucky to receive an update several times a year. Search engines like change.

Wake Up Call
Because search engines love changing content, they are ever ready to visit a site when it is updated. One feature unique to blog software is something called a pinging. Basically, what you are doing is sending out a message to various blog directories to come and visit you site because it has been updated. Once a search engine has located your site, this is like a personal invitation to come back and get the new stuff. I use a site called Ping-O-Matic to send pings to multiple services. Some blog software can be configured to do this automatically.

RSS Directories
Blogs also have a built in distribution method known as RSS. This allows you to push your updated content out to people who subscribe through an RSS reader such as Bloglines or FeedDemon as well as Yahoo and MSN. This ability allows you to communicate directly with subscribers but it can also help get your main site noticed and indexed by the major search engines. Yahoo, for example, allows people (including you) to subscribe to your blog s RSS feed. On the day you create your blog, you can subscribe to it via a free MyYahoo account and Yahoo will visit and index your blog for free. It has no choice.

Goodness gracious. Now that you have read till this point, we commit that additionally you will have something incredible. Enjoy reading further as particular vital minutiae would follow.

Linking Is Key
Part of the blogging culture is the predisposition to link to and from quality content that relates to the subject your are blogging about. In other words, bloggers like to link. Links from other high quality blogs will send traffic and get your blog and web site noticed.

So, your blog marketing strategy a little like this: Set-up a blog and start posting. Ping each time your make a new entry. Submit your blog to the major blog and RSS directories. Start looking for link partners. Repeat

O.K. Your heightened urge to investigate more would be rewarded further. Go on reading, there are extra details to follow.

In the last few weeks I set-up blogs for an attorney, a label manufacturer, and a remodeling contractor. In each case, the blogs were indexed and spidered by the major search engines within 48 hours. Traffic to the main web sites for these businesses (although a bit meager to start with) has already doubled or tripled. Traffic from each of the major search engines is now showing up for a large number of important search terms and phrases.

Who knows how long this blog traffic bonanza will last but at this moment a blog has never made more sense.

If you re convinced that you need a blog but don t want to hassle with setting it up and learning how to promote it properly, check out my basic blog coaching package. I do the work, you re up and blogging and promoting your blog in a matter of days.
